Description The Jewish Mother was established in 1974 in Virginia Beach, VA. The name was easy to come by, and a tribute to one of the owner's own "Jewish Mother", who was very active in creating the unique menu The Jewish Mother is now nationally known. Some of Mom's favorite suggestions for the menu were lox, bagels, quiche, omelettes, corned beef, brisket, and pastrami, to name a few.
The Jewish Mother has become a well known restaurant in the Hampton Roads area that also is one of the best live venues for great music.
