February Member Briefing
The Elizabeth River Trail has a long history in the City of Norfolk as a community driven and collaborative project. Today the trail is 10.5 miles in length and with the establishment of the Friends of the Elizabeth River Trail Foundation there is renewed energy and excitement in enhancing the trail to be a transformative project along our iconic waterfront for residents and visitors.
Join us for our next Member Briefing on February 7th to welcome Beth Weisbrod, Interim Executive Director of the Friends of the Elizabeth River Trail Foundation to the community. Beth, former Executive Director of the Virginia Capital Trail, will share her experiences with the Virginia Capital Trail and the exciting potential of the Elizabeth River Trail.
We will close out our program with an update from Paul Filion, Transportation Construction Manager, on the City of Norfolk’s Bike Share Program that is scheduled to launch this Spring.
