Ceremony and March Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The City of Norfolk will host a ceremony honoring Martin Luther King, Jr., on Monday, January 16 at 9:30am at the Attucks Theatre at 1010 Church Street. Doors open at 8:30am. Following the ceremony, the public is invited to march to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial for a wreath-laying ceremony. Parking is available at Garden of Prayer Worship Center, 1001 Church Street.

Beer My Valentine

February 14 will be here before you know it! Bodega is hosting a Beer My Valentine dinner on February 14 from 7-9pm featuring Coelacanth Brewing. The dinner includes 5 courses perfectly paired with craft beers. The cost is $60, which includes tax. Reservations are required and limited seating is available. Call 496-5382 to make your reservations before they sell out!

Tap Takeover at California
Pizza Kitchen

Center of the Universe Brewery is taking over the taps at California Pizza Kitchen on Thursday, January 19 from 5-7:30pm. Special pricing on signature beers Pocahontas, Ray Rays and Orange is the New Stout, along with a take home commemorative glass. There will also be free appetizers in the bar area from 5-6pm for Downtown workers and residents, while supplies last.
