The Main Grand Opening Weekend

On-Street Parking Removal, Parking Arrangements and Street Closures

Grand Opening Weekend, March 31- April 2

Parking Removals

Now through 1pm Monday, April 3, the following streets will have on-street parking removed:

  • E. Plume Street, north side, from Granby Street to the alleyway east of Dominion Enterprises
  • W. Main Street, south side, from Boush Street to Granby Street
  • Granby Street, east side, pullout in front of Saltine entrance only

Beginning at 7am Tuesday, March 28 through 7pm Thursday, March 30, the following streets will have on-street parking removed:

  • W. Plume Street from Randolph Street to Granby Street

 These areas will be used for vendor staging and food/beverage delivery for The Main.  All vehicles must have a parking pass issued by The Main.

In addition, from 7am to 2pm on Friday, March 31 there will be no parking on;

  • Granby Street from Main Street to Plume Street
  • E. Main Street from Martin’s Lane to Granby Street
  • E. Main Street in front of the Selden Arcade

Street Closures- Friday, March 31

Beginning at 8am until 2pm, E. Main Street from Martin’s Lane to Granby Street will be closed to all traffic.  E. Main Street from Martin’s Lane to Atlantic Street will be local traffic only.

Ingress and Egress for the Town Point Garage will be maintained from Boush Street. 

Beginning at 10am until 2pm, Granby Street from Main Street to Plume Street will be closed to all traffic.

Parking Arrangements

  • Valet only for Hilton Main Garage. No self-parking.
  • The following garages will operate as Collect on Entry beginning at 2pm Friday, March 31 and 8am Saturday, April 1:
    • Main Street
    • Waterside
    • W. Plume Street
    • Town Point
    • Fountain Park
    • Boush Street
    • Freemason Street
  • On Sunday, April 2 beginning at 7am the following will operate as Collect on Entry:
    • Main Street
    • W. Plume Street
    • Town Point
