Granby Pizza Celebrates 10th Anniversary

While we all get excited about the new restaurants popping up in Downtown, we also get equally excited when established restaurants like Granby Pizza celebrate milestone anniversaries.

Granby Pizza celebrates ten years of success on Granby Street this March, serving Downtown workers, residents and visitors New York style pizza and a full menu of Italian favorites.

Whether dining alfresco in the spacious outdoor seating area or having a hot pie delivered by the zippy delivery vehicle, be sure to say congrats to Pete Freda and his dedicated staff for ten delicious years Downtown.

Tinto Wine and Cheese Downtown

Tinto Wine and Cheese, a Virginia Beach favorite, has opened its second location in the Dominion Tower building at 999 Waterside Drive to bring their unique concept to Downtown Norfolk.

Tinto is a gourmet wine shop with the goal of being the source for your “go-to” everyday wine. All wines are priced between $10-$35. They employ a friendly knowledgeable staff who can be your wine expert and are sure to find just the right wine for your tastes. When you visit the store you will find a beautiful and welcoming setting with a communal table perfect to sample most any of the selections before you purchase.

In addition to wine, they offer gourmet paninis and an artisanal cheese and charcuterie selection. Delivery and concierge service is available. They also offer private tastings, parking validation and will even run your purchase to your car if you order on the phone.

Make plans to visit now. Open Monday – Friday, 11am – 7pm. Click here for more information or call 757-386-1452. Event Calendar Submissions

DNC Welcomes New Ambassador

DNC has a new member of the Ambassador Team making a difference Downtown and keeping our community friendly, safe and spotless.

Coty Mills joined us in January and has already become an important member of the Ambassador Team. Coty was especially interested in a job as an Ambassador because of the opportunity to gain further knowledge in community outreach efforts as a supplement the work he is doing as an intern with the City of Norfolk’s Office to End Homelessness.

Coty genuinely enjoys talking to people and his goal is always to make someone’s day better, even if it is just with a smile and a positive attitude. Coty is a student at Norfolk State University and will graduate in May with a degree in Social Work.

Welcome to the team Coty!
