Join the Norfolk Public Libraries for the 2nd Annual NPL Author Fair at Slover Library on March 2, 2019. Meet your local authors, catch a discussion, and enter to win local books and local food.

Local authors of a wide variety of genres and subjects! Come meet your locals, buy a book, and get an autograph. From fantasy to poets, children's to local history, you're sure to discover something new. View full list of local authors.
Special guest appearance by Norfolk native Charlene Butts Ligon, author of Fearless: How a poor Virginia Seamstress took on Jim Crow, beat the poll tax and changed her city forever.
Write: Seminars
Are you a writer? Would you like to be? Drop in for one of NPL's four writing, publishing, and marketing seminars during the Fair, all led by local writers.
EAT: Local cuisine. Giveaways.
Need lunch while at the Fair? Grab a delicious bite from the Food Truck Rodeo gathering by the library on March 2nd. Or, bring in a flyer or booklet from the Fair to Cuisine - Slover Library's in-house café - to receive a 10% discount.
