COMMITTEES AND TASK FORCES
The Downtown Norfolk Council chooses not to have meetings for "meetings sake". Rather, the work of the Council is done through Task Forces that concentrate on an issue and disband when the issue is either addressed or resolved.

In addition to the Board of Directors, the bylaws mandate the following:

Executive Committee - Officers of the corporation, the immediate past chairman, and three other Directors appointed by the Chairman, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors.

Nominating Committee - Chaired by the immediate past chairman with members appointed by the Chairman and approved by the Board of Directors.

The following committees meet on a monthly basis:

• Downtown 100 Committees also meet monthly and they are:

DT100

The Downtown 100 (DT100) is a group of 100 emerging downtown leaders. DT100 members are provided with tools and opportunities to enhance their leadership skills. Through their involvement and experiences they will be well positioned to serve in key leadership roles in the future.
