As a Downtown organization, we wish to support our local businesses and members while providing the public with as much up-to-date information as possible.
While the first priority for everyone is to take appropriate steps to limit the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the health of our community, if you can, please consider supporting the Downtown Norfolk small business community.
Please see below for updates on businesses — including closings, cancelations, and adjusted hours.
Please note that DNC staff is monitoring and updating this list as frequently as possible. If you are aware of a change or addition to this page, please email Sam Black at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We recommend calling stores to check on their status, hours of operation, and best options as well.
Due to the ever-changing nature of the current situation, we appreciate your patience and continued support of our Downtown businesses.
Until further notice, all city buildings will remain closed to the public.
Norfolk city employees will continue to report to work. Essential services, including trash pick-up and services provided by Norfolk Community Services Board, will continue as normal. The public is encouraged to use the many online options to access city services and make payments.
