Ambassador Program
The Ambassador Program is a hands‑on initiative dedicated to keeping Downtown Norfolk clean, beautiful, and welcoming for everyone. Operated by Block by Block and funded by Downtown Norfolk Council as administrators of the Downtown Improvement District, our ambassadors work daily to enhance public spaces, support maintenance needs, and create a more vibrant urban core.
Public Service Ambassadors are a friendly face in Downtown, providing assistance, information, and a welcoming presence for residents, workers, and visitors.
Clean Team Ambassadors are on the ground every day, keeping Downtown clean and inviting by caring for sidewalks, public spaces, and the details that make a difference.
F.R.E.D. (Free Ride Every Day)
