Create your own sunshine plaque out of clay with Rebel Arts Creative Community!

Create your own Ceramic Sunshine Plaque to hang in your home, porch, or garden! Kelly and Katie will teach a few clay and design techniques in a short demo. Then, you’ll have full creative freedom to create one of your own while connecting with fellow Norfolk creatives.

Once your piece is finished, you will leave them with Rebel Arts to be glazed and fired. They'll coordinate pick up details with you and the other attendees at the event.
This workshop is open to all - beginners and folks familiar with clay!
The age limit for this event is 12+, but anyone under age 18 needs to be accompanied by a paying adult.
Rebel Arts is a Community Arts Initiative in the Norfolk Area that operates on principles of transparency, solidarity, and the belief that art is for all. As they work toward having a dedicated space, they are partnering with ethically established businesses and entrepreneurs in the Hampton Roads Area to offer classes, workshops, and free open-studio-style pop-ups.
