At d’Art Center, their mission is to provide unique opportunities for the community to experience the visual arts. Every summer, d’Art Center offers an engaging art camp designed for children in grades 1 through 8 to watch, learn, create, and enjoy art in an interactive environment.

For summer 2025, the camp will run for 10 themed weeks from June 9 through August 22, with a break during the week of June 30 to July 4. Campers will explore different art mediums and techniques through weekly 30-minute demonstrations led by d’Art’s resident artists, create a variety of themed projects that nurture imagination and encourage creative thinking, and enjoy diverse activities with special guests and field trips to The Chrysler. Previous guests have included Norfolk Master Gardeners, the Virginia Zoo, the Virginia Aquarium, and more.

The camp is open to ages 6–14 (grades 1–8) and runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. The cost is $275 per camper per week. Registration for each week closes the Friday before.
