Mark you calendars for October 11 for the 2025 “From Here to Eternity” 5k Race! This annual 5k run/walk is one of Norfolk’s most unique and fun events. Runners are encouraged to dress in costume for the run through historic Elmwood and West Point cemeteries.
This is a timed race by Mettle Events and all runners receive a tshirt and commemorative medal. Award categories include:
$250 cash for finishing under 18 minutes (one winner).
Top 3 Male & Female Overall.
Top 3 Male & Female in each age group: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
This is a pet friendly race, so bring your furry friends to run/walk the race. We will be giving a special award to everyone’s favorite canine runner. Please make sure all furry runners are leashed and you are prepared to clean up after your pet.
