Enter a new era of nightlife at the Chrysler Museum of Art’s revolutionary art party, IgNITE! Designed to IgNITE your imagination with a high-volume, multi-sensory blast of art of all kinds, this event is full of dancing, music, performances, food, cocktails, and so much more! Get ready to celebrate, create, and enjoy the sheer thrill of being alive!
Get out your hairspray, dust off your platform shoes, and travel through time to a groovy night of disco, retro vibes, and blazing hot glass! You will be dancing the night away to music sets by the one and only DJ phenom–Gabe Niles, but that’s not all!
Groove with Mama Trouper, an Abba cover band, drag karaoke, vintage video games with Button Slashers, and fun fashion surprises with you as the star with Foster Beauty.
For a special treat, tour the special exhibition Clearly Indigenous: Native Visions Reimagined in Glass and the Chrysler Museum’s world-renowned art collection. And, to really heat things up, watch live glassblowing by Perry Glass Studio artists in our NEW outdoor hotshop, flamework, and jewelry-making.
For all IgNITEs, Happy Hour begins at 6 p.m. in Zinnia. Adventures and activities for IgNITE take place both indoors and outdoors, weather permitting.
Ages 18+
$10 for members, $25 for non-members. Tickets increase $10 at the door. Registration recommended.
For parents and caregivers looking for a night off, we are partnering with Blocker Norfolk Family YMCA to provide childcare.
