Chinese motifs on each of the seven floors of the Freemason Street Parking Garage create a wayfinding directional device to remind parkers of where they left their car. The artists stenciled 617 fortunes on each parking space representing positive messages to bring awareness to the Norfolk Pagoda. Artist Cassandra Akers worked with eight high school students as part of the City’s Earn and Learn internship program.
