The Unusual Suspects: The Improvised Murder Mystery
An Improvised Whodunit — 10 Years of Mystery, Mayhem, and Sold-Out Shows
A body has been discovered… and the audience is full of suspects.
The Unusual Suspects is Push Comedy Theater’s longest-running hit — a fully improvised murder mystery where no two nights are ever the same. The crowd becomes part of the action, stepping into the roles of suspects, accomplices, and (sometimes) even the killer. What starts as a simple whodunit unravels into a hilarious, unpredictable night of twists, turns, and total chaos.
But here’s the real kicker: you won’t just be watching the show — you might be in it.
For over a decade, The Unusual Suspects has kept audiences guessing with sold-out performances across the country. The show has toured nationally, appeared at major festivals, and even held a residency in Las Vegas.
At the helm is Brad McMurran — creator of Push Comedy Theater and head writer of the Off-Broadway hit Cuff Me: The Fifty Shades of Grey Musical Parody. Over the years, McMurran has embodied more than 100 detectives, from spot-on parodies of Matlock, Magnum P.I., Columbo, Sherlock Holmes, and Monk to a parade of unforgettable original sleuths.
Every night, a new mystery unfolds.
Every show, a new killer emerges.
And every performance, the audience is left asking…
Who did it this time? Maybe it’s YOU.
