    • Head over to MacArthur Center to take in Virginia Art Festival's presentation of Michelangelo—A Different View. This exhibit features brilliant recreations of Michelangelo’s frescoes of the Sistine Chapel on delicate fabric on display for the first time ever shown outside of the Vatican. The chapel's stunning ceiling is placed flat on the floor for an up close and personal art experience. And while you're at MacArthur Center, why not get in some retail therapy?

    • Learn all about a great American hero at the MacArthur Memorial, a museum & research center dedicated to preserving and presenting the story of the life of Douglas MacArthur. Admission is free!
