2018 First Fridays Downtown Street Party 

Get ready to grab some friends & have some fun: Downtown Norfolk's favorite Friday night street party is back for it's sixth season! Each First Fridays event runs from 5-8:30pm and features music, drinks, and plenty of fun all in an authentic downtown setting.

Friday, April 6
Where:300 Block of Granby Street, Corner of College Place and Granby Street 
Who: Lord Thomas (DJ) &  Super Doppler (formerly Major and the Monbacks) - Local Favorite Southern Rock and Soul

Friday, May 4
Where: The Plot, in the NEON District, corner of Granby Street and Olney Road
Who: BJ Griffin and the Galaxy Groove - Pop, funk, soul, R&B

Friday, June 1
Where: 300 Block of Granby Street, Corner of College Place and Granby Street
Who: Hot Gumbo Brass Band - Second-line Funk, Hip Hop, Reggae, Pop, R&B and DJ CanRock - Best DJ 2017 Veer Local Music Awards
** Outwire757 kicks off Pride Month with the First Annual Stiletto Stomp! 'Stompers' are asked to dress in drag/costume and wear their fiercest high heels to parade and compete in a sprint on Granby Street at 6:30pm. Awards will be given for Best Costume, Best Group Costume, First Place Race Finisher, and Last Place Race Finisher. More information and registration can be found here.
** Percolator’s premiere collaborative art show, Art in the Street, will also launch during First Fridays from 5pm-9:30pm at Percolator's Monticello Campus, featuring inspiring creations from both established and emerging artists employing a variety of different styles and media. There will be also be live music and refreshments. The exhibition continues on Saturday, June 2 from 10am to 6pm. For more information, visit www.percolatorspace.com.
