Become a Friend of Holidays In The City

Holidays in the City celebrates six weeks of festivities in Downtown Norfolk, kicking off on November 18th with the illumination of the Downtown Norfolk skyline and the 37th Annual Grand Illumination Parade. 

As a nonprofit organization, Downtown Norfolk Council (DNC) depends on the support of sponsors in order to produce this spectacular event. The Grand Illumination Parade not only enlivens Downtown, but has become a beloved family tradition that brings communities from across the region together to celebrate the wonder of the holiday season.

As a Friend of Holidays in the City, your contribution helps to support the behind-the-scenes work producing the Grand Illumination Parade, ensuring a successful and magical event experience for all attendees.

In addition to supporting the production of the Grand Illumination Parade, Friends of Holidays in the City will receive: 

  • Bleacher seating for four (4) at the Grand Illumination Parade on Saturday, November 18 (Seating will be on a VIP / Sponsor only bleacher section on the parade route)
  • Four (4) tickets to the Holidays in the City Cider Party – a great family event that follows the Grand Illumination Parade at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott Hotel with cider, cocoa, crafts, and a special visit from the big man himself!
  • Recognition on the event webpage
