Downtown Norfolk’s favorite cocktail showdown returns in 2025!

Join us on Friday, August 15, 2025 for the Downtown Norfolk Crush Competition. Restaurants all over Downtown will be mixing up their most creative twist on the beloved CRUSH cocktail for a chance to earn the title of KING OF THE CRUSH and a $500 prize.

Here’s how it works:

• The competition is on from 4pm to 8:30pm only. Check this page to plan your route.
• Each restaurant has a limited supply of special Crush Competition cups and will be serving $3 samples until they sell out.
• Limit one $3 competition sample per person, per location. If you want another, you’ll need to order the full-size drink.
• Pick up a score card at your first stop to keep track of your top picks.
• Bartenders will be getting extra creative—try them all and vote for who deserves the $500 prize!

Voting will be open here on Friday, August 15 from 4pm to 9:30pm.

Grab your friends, plan your stops, and find your new favorite crush! Enjoy as many or as few samples as you like at participating locations.
