During the early twentieth century, the border between the United States and Mexico was a place of cultural exchange. Artists from both countries crossed the border to experience new artistic techniques and learn from each other. Celebrate some of these artists and their works now on view in Chrysler Museum's galleries. Kimberli Gant, PhD, McKinnon Curator of Modern & Contemporary Art, will share selections of Paul Strand’s photographic work, The Mexico Portfolio, and local bartender Josh Seaburg will create a cocktail filled with Mexican flavors.
