The City of Norfolk invites residents to honor the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans with the annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the MacArthur Visitors Center. A wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the memorial rotunda.

Mayor Kenneth Cooper Alexander will provide remarks. Featured speaker is Admiral Daryl Caudle, Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command. The ceremony is free and open to the public.

The annual Veterans Day Ceremony is proudly sponsored by the City of Norfolk, the MacArthur Memorial and the Mayor’s Commission on Veterans’ Affairs.
