Celebrate the start of the holiday season in Downtown Norfolk with a fun and casual group bike ride! Elves from Elizabeth River Trail, Downtown Norfolk, and Lime are leading a ride on the downtown and Freemason sections of the trail on the night of Grand Illumination, Saturday, November 20. Downtown will be alive with lights, treats, Hot Cocoa Wars, activities and holiday decorations...Santa will even be making an appearance!

Meet at the Plot, 776 Granby Street, in the NEON District at 5:45pm to don your Rudolph noses and antlers. Ride kicks off at 6pm, heading around the Hague and Freemason, cruising past Winterfest on the Wisconsin, checking out the Christmas Tree at Town Point Park and then riding under the lights on Granby, before returning to the Plot to see the skyline illuminated at 7pm.

Anyone is welcome to ride! Kid and trailer-friendly pace.

A limited number of complimentary e-bikes from Lime will be available. Reserve a free Lime bike in advance to use on the ride here.

Only 18 and up riders are permitted to use a Lime bike. Please download the app and set up an account in advance if you are reserving a bike.
