*Each ticket includes a four-course meal paired with selected wines. Tickets are available at the box office at FM Restaurant, located at 320 Granby Street in Downtown Norfolk. Seatings at 5:30 and 8:30 start with a cocktail hour.

Sydney Meers, a semifinalist in the 26th annual James Beard Foundation Awards, has delighted hungry, discerning diners through his culinary escapades at The Trellis and then his own places starting with the legendary Dumbwaiter, Cowboy Syds and the late STOVE for the last 30 plus years. As Southern Foodways Alliance legendary director, John T. Edge said when sampling the fare at STOVE, “My night at STOVE with Syd was life-affirming.”

Sydney, now a new, but welcome face at local farmers markets selling his sauces, roasted coffee, pimento cheese, rubs and of course, his Smoochie hams. The line of Cowboy Syd’s Sauces is Meers’ most current project. Folks will experience “a touch of my home state in the way I make the sauces, with ingredients grown my garden and Eastern Shore of Virginia.”


1st Course-

Winter Squash and Tart Apple Bisque with Crème Fraiche, Apple Sticks & a Buttermilk Biscuit


2nd Course-

Dry Packed Jumbo Scallops on Purple Potato, Tart Apple and Fennel with a Smoked Tomato Basil and Cherve Crème


3rd Course-

Roasted Beef Tenderloin with a Winter Root Veggie Pan Roast sided with Crisp Smoked Bacon, Blue Cheese Cream and a swath of Cowboy Syd’s D-lish Sauce


4th Course-

Sydney Meers' soon to be world famous ‘Chocolate Chocolate Pecan Torte’ - a perfect degree of decadence for this special day!
