Laughter Class is a lecture series from the Push Comedy Theater that finds all-star comedians, actors, and performers from across the country to give a one hour lecture on their current passions. Learn the ins and outs of comedy from speakers including Emmy award winners, published writers, voice actors, theater directors, movie and TV stars, seasoned improvisers, sketch comedians, and more.

Absurdity: Playing The Fun Without Getting Lost in Wackytown
Absurdity is a powerful tool in comedy. It can open the doors to some surprising moments. It also has the power to spiral out of control. This lecture will discuss how absurdity can be used to elevate your comedy while still managing to "stay grounded."

Andy Livengood (AndyLIvengood.com) is a writer and comedian based out of Theatre 99 in Charleston, SC. He has studied at Theatre 99, The Annoyance Theatre, The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre, and The Second City. He was voted Charleston's Best Comic and nominated for Charleston's Best Actor and has written for the sketch comedy groups; Maximum Brain Squad, This is Chucktown!, and Your Credit Limit.  His one man shows The Christmas Will Be Televised (Winner Charleston's Best Play 2011) and Butcher Stories (Nominee: Charleston's Best Play 2020) have been performed to sold out crowds up and down the east coast.
